In keeping with an HK tradition,
collectors will gather at the I.C.E. show in Rosemont. This year, however, the reception
sponsored by the independent collector clubs will be held on Saturday. Once again, we will
treat you to an evening of fun and frolic at the HK Reunion on Saturday, June 24th in the
International Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare.
Harmony Kingdom collectors, dealers and staff will come together to share old times,
enjoy new times and mingle with others at the International
Collectible Exposition (I.C.E.) in Rosemont near the Chicago O’Hare
airport. The I.C.E. show, held June 22-25 is open to dealers on June 22 and 23 and to the
public on June 24 and 25.
Join us at the Harmony Kingdom Reunion
with Harmony Bowl II, where clubs compete
for great prizes by demonstrating their knowledge of HK. Collectors and dealers alike will
enjoy an evening that begins with our own HK Swap ‘n
Sell followed by fun, games and refreshments. Enjoy the Swap ‘n Sell from 5:00pm
to 7:15pm; then join us at the HK Reunion
from 8:00pm to 11:00pm.
The House of Peers (HOP), which includes
all authorised independent clubs, is sponsoring this event. Many clubs volunteered to
co-ordinate the various parts of the Reunion. In addition, HOP will sponsor a raffle of
the elusive Chucky Pig. The funds raised will be split
evenly between HOP and charity. You do not need to be present to win. Everyone is
welcome to participate.
HOTEL DETAILS:
You can reserve your rooms directly with hotels offering ICE discounts from Krause. The
Hyatt Regency is the host hotel for HK where the Harmony Kingdom Reunion will be held.
ADVANCE PURCHASE ICE TICKETS:
Avoid one line at the ICE Show on Saturday morning by getting your ICE tickets in advance.
Treasure Jesters of the West will help by offering
advance purchase Group Rate tickets to the Rosemont I.C.E. show. Tickets are $5 for a
one-day ticket (regular $7) or $8 for a two-day ticket (regular $10).
HK REUNION & RAFFLE PRE-SALE TICKETS:
The Elusive Few will help us reduce lines and estimate
attendance by offering advance purchase tickets for the Reunion. Tickets are $7.50 per
person for the Reunion in advance, $2 per person for the Swap ‘n Sell and $10 for a
Swap ‘n Sell table. The cost of Reunion tickets will be $10 per person at the door.
You may also purchase as many raffle tickets as you wish for the HOP
Prototype Raffle (Chucky Pig)
at $5 per ticket.
DOOR PRIZES:
Sonoran Harmony will co-ordinate door prizes.
Collectors and dealers are welcome to donate prizes.
SWAP 'N SELL RESERVATIONS:
East Coast Harmony Seekers will handle the Swap ‘n Sell details.
PROGRAM CO-ORDINATOR:
Join us for Harmony Bowl II. Harmony Hills will handle the evening’s program for the
Reunion.
VOLUNTEERS AND LOCAL CO-ORDINATOR:
Harmony Midwest will be the local contact to
co-ordinate with HOP and the hotel, to organise volunteers for all the tasks the evening
of the event, and to answer questions for clubs/collectors on local issues.
