Welcome to The
Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina.
 The
Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina is a newly-renovated hotel offering 133 beautifully-appointed guest rooms, all with breathtaking views of either Newport Harbor or historic Queen Anne Square. You can enjoy their indoor heated pool, men's and ladies' saunas, and a sundeck overlooking the harbor.
The Newport Harbor Hotel's Marina offers 60 slips for transient dockage and is the exclusive home of the legendary America's Cup Yachts. The Legendary America's Cup Yachts are six 12 meter class, meticulously restored yachts, which competed for or won the America's Cup when the races were held in Newport. These sleek yachts are available for private charters as well as individuals for 2 hour sunset sails, departing daily, and right from their docks.

LOCATION
The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina is centrally located in downtown Newport. It is very convenient to shopping and dining. Newport is centrally located in southern New England and is just an hour from points north, like Boston, or about three hours from New York City by car.
You can go by flight to Providence's T. F. Green Airport (PVD) and either rent a car or take an airport shuttle. The airport lies 25 miles to the north of Newport. The shuttle is Cozy Cab, Inc. which offers scheduled service between Providence (T. F. Green Airport) and the Newport area for $25 per person, each way. INFORMATION
 Reservations for the event can be made by individual attendees directly with The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina reservations desk at 800-955-2558 or 401-847-9000. Please indicate our group name [HARMONY KINGDOM HOUSE OF PEERS] when making reservations by phone.
Additionally, attendees can make reservations online at [www.newporthotel.com] by entering the Group Number HARMONYk0910. Reservations must be made by September 28, 2009 to obtain the group rate.
The cost
per standard room is $159 per
day, plus state and local taxes (currently 13%) in effect at the time of check in. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.

*If you wish to stay earlier and/or stay later, arrangements can be made by contacting Leanna Barron at [president@houseofpeers.com] or by calling her at 678-949-1977. She will contact the proper person(s) at the hotel for verification of availability and the associated rates. The hotel should be able to meet your requests, however the regular reservation staff cannot do this for you.
Hotel
reservations are independent of event registration.
HOTEL PARKING
Please note that free on-site parking is available for hotel guests ONLY and only one vehicle per room is permitted. For those guests attending meetings or functions who do not have a sleeping room, the availability of on-site parking is not guaranteed. Arrangements should be made for alternate parking at the numerous street lots adjacent to the hotel. The cost of parking for non-guests at the hotel is $15.00 per day.
GUARANTEE POLICY
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured by one of the above methods.
Individual cancellations will be accepted up to 72 hours in advance of arrival. If individual cancellations are not received at least 72 hours in advance, a charge equal to the revenue of the room and tax total for the length of stay of the reservation will be assessed.
Individuals that depart prior to the original date of their reservation will be assessed a fee equal to the balance of the remaining number of room nights on their registration card multiplied by the room and tax charges.
